No, BidCactus is not scam, it is a penny auction site. Similar to eBay, but eBay offers free bidding. However, at BidCactus you must pay about $0.75 cents per bid, win or lose. Also each time you or someone make a bid, the auction time increase 20 seconds and the price of the item increase to 1 penny, hence, the name penny auction.

When bidding on a site like BidCactus, you can easily get carried away with your bidding because you’re not thinking about the overall amount you’re spending on each bids.

Penny auction sites are not illegal or a scam but there are many user complaints about losing money and allegations that the site is nothing more than an illegal gambling site.
