Brinkster was the first hosting companies I paid to have my website (keyframe5.com) online. I have been using their free hosting services for some time and during 2005 they were offering a hosting for life, yes for life. This was why I sign up and paid about $300 dollars.

I can tell you that their database UI is too complicated for me to use, since I am not a programmer and they didn’t provide any myphpadmin. Also, there is no easy way to add multiple domains to the account. You will need to use server side script if you want to have multiple domains. This is why I had to move away with them after the first year, but I still have some small websites on their server.

I just found this out: you can add myphpadmin to your Brinkster account, you would need to download the myphpadmin script and go to Brinkster’s Search Knowledge Base to look up how to install it. Another inconvenience is that Brinkster only allow me one database, so if I have multiple websites I would need to use that same database. Which make it harder to organize your database because they are in one database. Basically they are saying you can only use one domain for one account. You can use multiple domains in the same account but it would make your job even harder….
