We just receive our Rogers bills and we notice we are now paying over $100 per month for our high speed internet service with Rogers. Our current high speed internet package with Rogers is Express, which should cost $46.99 per month without tax, except we usually pass our monthly bandwidth usage.
Our maximum internet usage is 60 GB per month with the Express plan from Rogers. If we use more than 60 GB per month we’ll have to pay $2 for every 1 GB we use with a maximum overcharge cap at $25 dollars. So our high speed internet cost is $46.99 (Express package) + $25 (over usage cap) + $3 (modem rental) = $74.99 + apx. 15% tax = apx. $86.24 per month.

I had been using StatCounter for many years even before Google Analytics came out. Both are free, however, StatCounter also have a paid account for tracking more than 500 unique visitors. I never need to pay for tracking above 500 visitors, so the free account is working fine for me.
I will not go into details for each tool within Statcounter and Google because that would take too long and honestly I don’t know them all because I don’t need to use them. I’ll discuss all the tools I find useful and what tools I like the most.
Even though I have both install on my web sites, but I mainly use Statcounter 99% of the time and maybe several times a month I would check out my Google Analytics account.

A new kind of social networking website which pairs you randomly via webcam with a chat buddy. Apparently, it is a huge hit online but parents are concerned, but what do you think?
Just like every new technology, there can be abuse because many people use this website for X-rated use.
It is fascinating how the site got started by a 17-year-old kid in Russia inside his bedroom. Then many people took advantage of that more than he expect. You see many people in there that are naked. A lot people are abusing it in some sexual context with other people. Also, you don’t have to any age limit on the website and anyone at any age can login on at any time.
The creator of the website asks people to be 16 years old or older to use the website. There are 30 million peoples using the website each month and there are a very small percentage of the people that are doing something they shouldn’t be doing. Also, the creator of the website is trying to figure out a new way to limit the abuse. For example, he created a button to report users who are breaking the rules on the website.

The earth is heating up and we need to do something about it. The Google team wakes up every morning and asked themselves how they can reduce greenhouse gases.
Recharging a car
What drives plug-in hybrid are three things:
Cleaner, cheaper, and domestic.
Plug-in hybrid technology is the best in both world, between electric car and the flexibility of a hybrid. A plug-in hybrid is one vehicle were you would drive your first 40 miles of the day with electricity. From Monday to Friday, you may not use a drop of gasoline going back and forth from work. However, if you want to drive to Disney World on the weekend, you have the flexibility to do just that and put in gasoline as a backup. Google calls this, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with a safety net.
The great break through with the plug-in hybrid is you can add a large battery and you can add a secondary fuel source which is electricity. By having a plug-in hybrid you get to drive on power you’re charging overnight. That adds up to about one or two cents per month for the cost of electricity.
