I signed on for Just energy in hydro slightly less than 5 years ago. In July, 2010, I was approached by a door-to-door salesperson who seemed legitimate. After filling out the necessary materials she had to make 2 calls to verify my information and I also had to speaK. oVER THE NEXT 10 DAYS I was called 4 times to again and again confirm that I was intending to become a customer. I finally got to the point that the calls became more harassing than useful and I cancelled all. Based upon the trouble I had had it was agreed that the amount owed for early cancellation (*approx $109) would be removed. It was going to take 2 months to make the cancellation which I also questioned. Now I am receiving a call every day from the cancellation department and I have told them what happened. They indicated that they did not see that “in the notes” and asked me whom I spoke with. I asked the agent what notes they hasd a the answer was “none! None at all!” BUT thewy want me to recall who I spooke with, the date and other info and indicated that the calls would continue.
I WOULD DEFINITELY AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Are you searching for a new web hosting solutions for your WordPress websites? If so, you have come to the right place to find the best web hosting provider for WordPress websites or blogs.

There are many top web hosting providers, but how do you know which one is the best and which one to avoid? Having the right website hosting provider for your WordPress websites can save you headaches, time and money. No body want to waste time with an incompetent web hosting provider.

Personally, I had to find out the harder way, I went through all the headaches and that’s why I’m here to share my story. Also, I am a professional web designer, I design WordPress websites for a living and managed many WordPress websites on dedicated servers at work and for my personal WordPress websites, I had dealt with dozens of managed hosting providers and VPS over the past 5 years (since 2005).

When looking for the top hosting providers for WordPress, it’s kind of like finding a good hair cutter or hair dresser. Not all of them know your hair style, but when you find a good one, you stick with them, the search ends and no more bad haircut. This is the same thing when you find a good web hosting provider.

Ok, let’s get right on with it. The main questions is: Who are the top web hosting providers for WordPress? Well, you can’t really tell or measure how good or not good to any website hosting providers. However, you can ask someone who done it before and really know what they’re talking about. As well as reading as many reviews as you possible can before making your final decision. You’ll need to do your homework, just a little bit. That’s why you’re here.

Try HostGator – 45 days money back guarantee

My first recommendation for the top web hosting provider for WordPress is HostGator. I have been with them for over 2 years since 2008, usually I would stay with a website hosting provider for about 1-12 months and eventually move on to the next provider, but not with HostGator. After all, why should I leave if nothing is broken and the price is just right? This website www.keyframe5.com was built with the latest version of WordPress and it is also hosted by HostGator.

Don’t just take my words for it. Read what other people are saying about HostGator.

HostGator’s cPanel

When you finish signing up with HostGator, you will have your own cPanel to manage all aspect of your websites such as managing all of your domains, managing your email accounts, statistics, database, send support tickets and much more. HostGator’s cPanel looks like this…

Here is another reason why I highly recommend them. When you login to your cPanel and on the left side you will see this “Statistics”. Look for the Process Running, CPU Usage, Memory Usage, and Inodes. Each user on each account has this and every single account gets a maximum CPU usage, memory usage and inodes. Why is that important?

Well, if signup with a different managed hosting provider that doesn’t have the maximum limit usage for each users, it will create a lot of problems. For example, if someone on the same server have a lot of traffic or using a script that takes up a lot of processing power, this will crash the server and all the websites on the server will crash or lag. Most poor quality web hosting providers have a bad habit of jamming as many users into their shared manage severs to get as much profit as they can and this create a lot of bottleneck and crashes.

Whereas HostGator sets each user with a certain amount of CPU and memory, even inodes (inodes are the number of files contain on your account, files like .html, .jpg, .php, ect.), if a user go over their maximum CPU or memory usage. HostGator can track that user and block that account so it will not crash the server and it will not affect other users on that server. It allows everyone to have an equal amount of processing power.

So, how much traffic or domains can you have with limited amount of CPU, memory and inodes? Currently I have 17 domains on my HostGator account, about 15 of them are WordPress and 2 are park domains. I can have unlimited domains. I get about 3,000-5,000 unique visitors per day with all the websites combine, with about 6,000-10,000 page views per day and everything is running fine.

Make sure you install Super Cache on your WordPress websites. This allow WordPress to store static html/php pages and this create less processing requirement on the server. I think I can probably get as many as 10,000 unique visitors per day and then I should consider upgrading to a VPS, but for now if you have several hundred or several thousand visitors each day. I’m sure you can have it all running full speed with HostGator managed hosting service as little as $4.95 per month. Remember to use Super Cache…

Easy WordPress installation with Quick Install option

Installing the latest WordPress is real simple. All you have to do is login to your cPanel and click on Quick Install. This will bring you to the Quick Install page, then select WordPress and insert in all the require fields. That’s it. If you like to install WordPress the old fashion way, you can always use your FTP, but that’s for more advance users.

Not only you can install WordPress in a few simple steps, but you can also use the Quick Install option to install other free software with a few clicks. Software like phpBB, Joomla, Drupal, Mambo, Zen Cart and many other.

Here is the full list of free software inside the Quick Install page:

Ex – Oklahoma College researcher indicates how geothermal heat pumps spend less electricity and enhance the quality of air.

Are you aware that Gerald McClain, after numerous years working with geothermal energy leader James Bose at Oklahoma State College, has developed an innovative home geothermal cooling and heating method?

Heat pumps function as a fridge in reverse, they normally use electrical power to transfer heat from one place to one other rather than producing heat directly.

Consequently, they can be two to three times more energy-efficient than traditional electric heating units.

A geothermal heat pump is a central home heating and/or cooling system that pumps heat to/or from the soil. It uses the soil as a heat source (in the winter months) or a heat sink (in the summer months).

The geothermal pump models are between the most energy efficient systems for providing HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) and water heating.

The set up prices are higher than traditional systems (close to $45,000 decreased by a 30 % with government tax credit), but the difference is generally returned in energy cost savings in three to ten years.

The Gerald McClain’s geothermal system is based on:

6 one inch diameter pipes sunk three hundred feet into the soft red clay below his home

A water antifreeze mix in the pipes that picks up the ground’s constant sixty two degree F. Temperature

3 heat pumps in the attic that use a small electric powered compressor to heat or cool the home

The energy for the pumps costs around $100 per month, much less than the standard heating and cooling expenses in the area.

A well preserved heat pump system not only will help save on electricity, but will also blow dust into the house, improving interior air quality.

Indoor dust can pose health dangers, particularly to young kids. New data (As released in the epa.gov site in Sept ’09) displays that indoor dust is highly polluted by persistent and endocrine disrupting chemical substances (such as poly-chlorinated biphenyls).

Heat pumps get energy effectiveness by transferring heat around as opposed to liberating it. This is not to say there is no air motion with a heat pump, but the heat move decreases that process. So does the lack of a cold-cycle as it exists in many common heaters, which also acts to blow dust through the house.
