I used to have godaddy.com web hosting account 2 years ago, not sure if they changed it or not. Some of the things I remember were their user interface looks too busy for me (does not look clean and kinda hard to get use to it). They don’t have cPanel, they built their own control panel, and by the most part it does the job. But I still think cPanel is better and has more features.
I had to move out from godaddy.com because I needed more disk space and more bandwidth. I don’t think I will go back to use their web hosting service again, I didn’t like their control panel. It looked very busy….because of that I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends or anyone I know. I would rather go with hostgator.com which has cPanel and it has unlimited disk space and bandwidth. Nothing is really unlimited with hostgator.com; there are little bars on the hostgator.com cPanel showing the CPU and Memory status. As long as you do not manage to max your cpu and memory, you are ok. I manage to have about 15 domains (about 2 000 unique visitors per day) there right now and it look like I can add a few more before I need an upgrade. More about my Hostgator.com review here…
The only thing I would recommend with godaddy.com is their domain hosting/domain registration. From time to time, godaddy.com have some nice deals for the domain hosting. But if you have many domains I would rather go with namecheap.com, see my review on namecheap.com here…
