When the time of current demand of energy is sky high, solar energy is now hot and Wall Street is taking notice.
What state have installed more solar panels except California?
If you said New Jersey, your solar energy IQ is high. If you know why several thousand huge mirrors are display across the Mojave Desert in California, consider yourself a solar energy genius.
Every single day the sun comes up, there is enough energy from sunlight in one day to supply all the power we need for the next five years across the planet.
Solar panel technology is more expensive than fossil fuel power, so most solar panel companies rely on government subsidies. So does the oil business and the coal business. As well as nuclear industry but the outlook for the solar sector is brighter than any established energy industry. General electric estimated that their solar energy division would bring one billion dollars in revenue with the next three years. JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo are the top investors.
Solar is the one technology that is currently decreasing in price, increasing in opportunities and can become a key part of the solution if we make the right investment today. Which brings us back to the mirror in the Mojave Desert, known as the cutting edge in solar technology and Google is also heavily invested in similar technology for turning sunlight into power. Betting that the country must build a vibrant solar industry before oil and coal wants out.
Experts say low cost of solar technology will come down to the same costs as fossil technology in the next seven years. By 2025, solar can provide 50% of the US power consumption and that all depend on the government for tax credits on solar energy.
