Cooler Master Notepal U2 – Notebook Cooler Review

I brought this Cooler Master Notepal U2 and been using it the past month to try to keep my HP Pavilion laptop from being over heat. The great thing about the Cooler Master Notepal U2 is that it comes with 2 independent fans and you are able position the fans at the hottest parts of the laptop.

Unlike most other laptop coolers in the market today comes with fans or a single fan that is place in the same position and you can not relocate the fans where you want it.

The only downside to the Cooler Master Notepal U2 is that I need at least one more fan because there are 3 hot spots on my laptop (CPU, Hard Drive and the Ram). I place the first 2 fans on my CPU and my hard drive, I am still looking for one more mini usb fan on Ebay. Also, the aluminum stand is nice, but I find that metal stands would be a lot better to keep things cool. Overall I very like the Cooler Master Notepal U2 with the adjustable fans and will keep it as long as I have my laptop.

Thermaltake Massive 23 ST – Notebook Cooler Review

Ok, I brought this laptop cooler last week for my HP pavilion laptop. My laptop just came back from the computer repaired store because of overheating. So, I figure I need to buy a laptop cooler to prevent it from overheating again.

I decide to buy this Thermaltake Massive 23ST because it was light weight and has huge fan in the center which look like it can cool my laptop pretty well. However, I didn’t like that blue led light, but when you place your laptop on top, you won’t notice the blue led at all. But still I rather not have that fancy light.

I tested out the Thermaltake Massive 23 ST and find that the hottest part of my laptop is the CPU, the hard drive and the ram. The CPU is located at the top left corner of my laptop and the hard drive was located at the lower left corner which does not get much air flow from this laptop cooler. However, the middle part of my laptop where the ram are located were cooling very well.
