I signed on for Just energy in hydro slightly less than 5 years ago. In July, 2010, I was approached by a door-to-door salesperson who seemed legitimate. After filling out the necessary materials she had to make 2 calls to verify my information and I also had to speaK. oVER THE NEXT 10 DAYS I was called 4 times to again and again confirm that I was intending to become a customer. I finally got to the point that the calls became more harassing than useful and I cancelled all. Based upon the trouble I had had it was agreed that the amount owed for early cancellation (*approx $109) would be removed. It was going to take 2 months to make the cancellation which I also questioned. Now I am receiving a call every day from the cancellation department and I have told them what happened. They indicated that they did not see that “in the notes” and asked me whom I spoke with. I asked the agent what notes they hasd a the answer was “none! None at all!” BUT thewy want me to recall who I spooke with, the date and other info and indicated that the calls would continue.
I WOULD DEFINITELY AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!
