I do not want to renew my contract with them. what happens if i don’t sign up with any distributors?

Our contract is up with just energy.They are hounding us at our door and calling us on the ph. to sign a new contract. My husband thinks it a good idea. I think oposite. Seeing the comment page, I just hope he realize he is wrong in signing a new contract. Thank you
